MoneyLife

Real life. Fake money. Interactive financial simulation that teaches kids and teens to handle spending, saving, and debt through age-appropriate scenarios. Features dual Kid/Teen modes with dynamic feedback and gamified learning experiences.

Challenge
Implementing two separate models (Kid and Teen modes) — initially written together, attempts to separate them caused crashes.
Decision
Completely refactored the project structure to support distinct game behaviors for each mode with modular life events.
Lesson
Mastered Git workflows including branching and merge conflicts. Learned the importance of iterative design and planning.
